MRAG (Marine Resources Assessment Group) Americas

President Andrew Rosenberg is a former deputy director of the National Marine Fisheries Service, former Northeast regional administrator, member of the U.S. Commission on Ocean Policy and is currently a member of the Joint Ocean Commission. He was a participant in the Setting Ocean Priorities for the New Administration and Congress Workshop (link).
Among MRAG America's clients are National Marine Fisheries Service, National Marine Sanctuary Program, Nation Observer Program at NMFS, Environmental Defense (link), Conservation International, Lenfest Ocean Program (link), Marine Stewardship Council (link), Ocean Conservancy (link) and World Wildlife Fund (link).
MRAG America currently has a contract with NOAA/NMFS to provide observers for the groundfish fleet as required by the recent and highly controversial catch shares program (link).
