Funded by grants directly from Pew ($4 million), from Pew through Wildlife Forever ($3.8 million) and from Pew through Trout Unlimited ($2 million), the TRCP describes itself on its website as "a coalition of hunting, fishing and conservation organizations, labor unions and individuals like you who represent the wide spectrum of America’s outdoor community." Needless to say, it seems that it is always signed onto foundation funded anti-fishing campaigns. It's "partners" With almost $10 million from Pew, it would seem that it's a coalition that didn't arise spontaneously from the grass roots of any sportsman's movement.
